School Management Solutions (often referred to as SMS) is a specialized service practice operating under the umbrella of Roth&Co, a top 150 accounting and advisory firm providing tax, audit, and business consulting services.

 

SMS is a compliance and operational support organization for schools and educational institutions. Its mission is to help schools, particularly private and independent ones, navigate complex government regulations and administrative requirements so administrators can stay focused on education rather than paperwork.

 

We are seeking a reliable and motivated intern to join our team with the goal of developing into a long-term team member. This role supports schools participating in child nutrition programs, accreditation processes, and other school-related grants in NY & NJ. The internship will begin with administrative and client support responsibilities and gradually expand into compliance work, project coordination, and broader operational support as skills and experience grow.

 

The role is expected to continue through May 2026, with the potential to extend beyond that date based on performance, initiative, and workload.

  • Support school food program documentation and related compliance tasks
