Provide students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to student ability levels.
Education / certifications:
Must be certified and able to teach Band
Attributes / Skills:
Energetic, charismatic, creative, extremely flexible, responsible, able to lead small group projects, and passionate about ELAR.
Responsibilities: To include, but not limited to:
● Classroom teaching assignment
● Be student centered, creative with instruction, and know how to plan and implement effective hands-on lessons;
● Work as a member of the Sundown Middle School and SISD team to ensure the purposeful implementation of the TEKS with a primary focus on student success;
● Work with students at varying skill levels challenging them all; and
● Take on extra duties as needed/assigned, such as: helping with UIL competitions and tutoring.
