Why Sabel Systems

Sabel Systems Technology Solutions, LLC is a digital engineering and Defense technology partner helping organizations simplify complexity and improve mission outcomes through secure, scalable solutions across the lifecycle. Our people-first culture blends large-business opportunity with small-business agility, enabling us to deliver high-impact, secure solutions, rapidly while investing in our people’s growth and success.

You will be joining a dynamic and highly motivated team with one shared goal: “Get quality and secure solutions in the customers’ hands as soon as possible.”

Why This Role Matters

Sabel Systems is seeking a Scrum Master to aid Agile Digital Transformation for the Digital Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) aligned to our Space Force customer in El Segundo, CA.

This role plays a critical part in supporting the Agile Coach and Release Train Engineer in implementing best practices across teams operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will work closely with Team Leads, Stakeholders, and Agile leadership to reinforce established structure, maintain team meeting cadence, and drive continuous improvement.

This position operates within a highly collaborative, multi-team environment where coordination, transparency, and adaptability are essential. Your ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage team workflows, and support cross-team alignment will directly impact lasting cultural change, indirectly supporting national defense priorities.

You will serve as a key connector—facilitating communication, resolving blockers, and ensuring alignment in both in-person and distributed environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Independently lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint or Kanban Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews or demos, and Retrospectives, ensuring active team participation and effective outcomes

  • Configure and maintain Jira boards (Scrum and Kanban) and Jira plans, including creating new Jira issues/tasks, reporting progress, and utilizing JQL-based filters that provide visibility into team performance

  • Partner closely with Agile Leads and team members to define acceptance criteria and align on Definition of Done

  • Participate in Scrum of Scrums and cross-team dependency coordination

  • Collaborate with Agile Architects and Coaches to support broader Agile transformation and enterprise-level Agile activities

  • Maintain and enhance Confluence spaces based on feedback from Agile Coaches

  • Support development of Agile training materials, presentations, and team enablement resources

  • Coordinate meetings, ensure timely and professional communication, and maintain strong engagement in both in-person and virtual environments (MS Teams, chat, email)

  • Contribute to Agile product demonstrations and team working sessions as needed

  • Role-model Agile best practices and help reinforce standards, consistency, and accountability
