. Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands is seeking a friendly and energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team in Sandusky, OH.
Schedule (days/hours)
Monday - Friday, No Saturdays
Responsibilities
Support the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
Help create a positive, comfortable experience for children and their families
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Take dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations)
Provide patient education on oral hygiene
Assist with charting and maintaining accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
- Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
Preferred Qualifications
Coronal polishing certification preferred
Compensation
$20-$24/hour
