We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to provide therapeutic services to individuals, families couples and groups with developmental disabilities.  Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the Therapist will deliver client centered, evidence-based interventions designed to support emotional, behavioral and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy under the supervision of a licensed therapist. 
  • Develop. implement, and maintain treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Utilize appropriate therapeutic approached to address developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs. 
  • Maintain accurate timely description of sessions, clinical notes, and progress reports in compliance with agency and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with case managers, educators, support coordinators, and other professionals involved in the client's care. 
  • Provide in clinical supervision, team meetings, and on-going training to enhance professional skills and ensure quality of care. 
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive therapeutic environment tailored to each client's developmental level and communication style.  

Qualification

  • Registered with the BBS as an AMFT, ACSW, LMFT, and LCSW in the State of California.
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field. 
  • Experience working with developmental disabilities and/or their families preferred.  
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, or person- centered therapy. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
