Heater Specialists, L.L.C., we take pride in our commitment to excellence and adherence to ASME Code standards. As a Drafting Checker, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our fabrication projects.

Responsibilities

Review and verify fabrication drawings for compliance with ASME codes and standards.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
Conduct thorough checks to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
Maintain meticulous documentation of revisions and approvals.
Uphold safety standards and best practices on the jobsite.

Requirements of Checker

Minimum of at least 4 years of experience in drafting, preferably within a fabrication setting.
Strong understanding of ASME code and regulations
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
The ability to calculate steel weights
Strong understanding of heaters and structural steel
Attention to Detail
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
