Warehouse Supervisor

Kauai Air Conditioning & Plumbing, a local mechanical contractor, is looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join their team as a Warehouse Supervisor. Candidates must have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, be detailed oriented, computer literate, and possess problem-solving skills.
The Warehouse Supervisor works under the supervision of the Installations Department Manager in a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to train and oversee warehouse staff while maintaining efficient operations. They are responsible for managing warehouse logistics, training new employees, and ensuring all inventory is properly received, stored, and distributed according to company standards. Punctuality, reliability, hard work, and initiative are essential.
Job Functions
- Perform and oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, storing, and distributing inventory in accordance with purchase orders and job schedules.
- Train and mentor new warehouse employees on procedures, safety protocols, and efficiency practices.
- Understand, maintain, and follow standardized inventory procedures to ensure tracking, storage, and availability of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy and identify variances.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate reorder needs management to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Deliver and pick up materials and equipment using the company vehicle.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock, ensuring inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting and audits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Monitor and enforce safety policies within the warehouse and warehouse vehicles.
- Track and complete daily logs, inventory reports, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure timely material delivery for projects.
- Identify process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
- Ensure cleanliness of company vehicles.
- Ensure cleanliness of office and restroom.
- Any additional duties or responsibilities deemed necessary by management.
