Summary

We are seeking a Cook to join our culinary team at Aristocrat Berea Healthcare & Rehabilitation. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience within our communities.

This position has a starting pay rate of $16.50 an hour

The typical schedule for this opportunity is two (2) 8-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes every other weekend rotation. Shift is 5am - 1pm

Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
Assist in menu planning to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Collaborate with culinary aides and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.

Requirements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook in a healthcare or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to prepare meals that accommodate various dietary restrictions.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
