    Hourly Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor
    Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology – Adult Education Division

     

    Position Summary

     

    BCIT Adult Education is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor to teach part-time on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJ Master Electrician License, have at least 5–10 years of field experience, and possess a strong understanding of the New Jersey Electrical Code. The instructor will work with adult learners to deliver hands-on training, share real-world expertise, and support student success in the electrical trade.

     

    Qualifications

     
    • NJ Master Electrician License (required)

    • 5–10 years of professional experience in the electrical field

    • In-depth knowledge of NJ Electrical Code (preferred)

    • Ability to effectively communicate and teach adult learners

    • Strong oral and written communication skills

     

    Salary & Schedule

     
    • $39.15/hour (Competitive hourly rate)

    • Part-time position

     

    Additional Information

     
    • Must pass a criminal history background check

    • Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required

    • Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
