About the Team:
The Projects and Business Analysis team within Digital and Campus Services partners closely with academics, professional staff, students and external vendors to deliver strategic digital and campus initiatives, operating within strong governance frameworks and in alignment with enterprise architecture and the university’s digital roadmap to drive service excellence, innovation and improved outcomes across the university.
About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, governance and delivery of complex, high‑value digital and campus projects from feasibility through implementation and handover, ensuring outcomes are aligned to the University’s strategic priorities while providing leadership, guidance and assurance across the project portfolio.
Position Key Duties
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of strategic and complex projects across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Establish and maintain robust project governance, ensuring compliance with university frameworks, policies and standards.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets and dependencies to achieve agreed outcomes and value.
Identify, assess and actively manage risks and issues, escalating as required to steering committees and senior stakeholders.
Deliver high‑quality project documentation, reporting, dashboards and executive briefings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, academics, students, vendors and delivery partners.
Ensure solutions meet quality, regulatory and change management requirements and support continuous improvement.
Provide leadership, mentoring and subject‑matter expertise to project managers and project team members.

- Salary: $132,942 - $138,314 Plus 17% Super
- Employment Type: Full Time – Ongoing/Permanent
- Hours per Week: 36.75/1 FTE
- Location: Footscray Park Campus – 3 days on-site

About You:
You are an experienced and confident Senior Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex, high‑value projects in large, stakeholder‑rich environments, combining excellent governance capability with commercial acumen, strategic thinking and a collaborative leadership style. You bring deep expertise in project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 and Agile), are highly skilled in risk, financial and stakeholder management, and are comfortable operating with autonomy while influencing and advising at senior and executive levels. You are motivated by delivering meaningful outcomes, fostering continuous improvement, and mentoring others to build capable, high‑performing teams.
