Schedule  12:00 PM- 8:00 PM  Monday-Friday

Sandstone of Tucson is looking for a Porter to join our Housekeeping team! As a Porter, you will play a key role in keeping our facility clean, organized, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

Your Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning & Floor Care – Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and maintain floors in hallways and common areas
• Facility Upkeep – Maintain cleanliness of entrances, lobbies, corridors, and shared spaces
• Waste Removal – Collect and dispose of trash, soiled linens, and regulated waste following proper procedures
• Spill & Hazard Response – Respond quickly to spills and safety concerns to maintain a safe environment
• Transport Duties – Move equipment, furniture, and supplies throughout the facility as needed
• Stocking Supplies – Replenish housekeeping and sanitation supplies
• Infection Control – Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
• Support Housekeeping Team – Assist with deep cleaning projects and daily operational needs

Qualifications:

• Previous porter, housekeeping, or janitorial experience (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
• Good communication skills
