Join Our Night Shift Care Team at Maple Grove

Maple Grove Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our Full-Time Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) team. Our night shift caregivers play a vital role in ensuring resident safety, comfort, and continuity of care while residents rest.

This position assists residents in attaining and maintaining optimal functional status by supporting the nursing care delivery system under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), while meeting all standards of care set forth by Maple Grove Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow residents’ individualized plans of care under the direction of the Charge Nurse

  • Provide hands-on resident care, including but not limited to:

    • Bathing, grooming, and dressing

    • Transferring, repositioning, and mobility assistance

    • Toileting and continence care

  • Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed

  • Monitor and document intake/output and promptly report changes in resident condition

  • Perform routine overnight safety checks and respond promptly to resident needs

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including making beds and tidying resident areas

  • Accurately document care, interventions, and events in the resident record

  • Follow all infection control policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with nursing staff and assist with other duties as assigned

  • Uphold resident dignity, rights, and safety at all times

  • Immediately report suspected or actual abuse, neglect, mistreatment, or misappropriation of property per facility policy

  • Immediately report any work-related injury to your supervisor

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies

Qualifications

  • Current, valid Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification – Required

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality resident care

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents throughout the shift

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred

  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred
