Job Description

Maintenance Worker – On-Site | Part-Time | Center-Based

Behavior Treatment & Analysis (BTA) is hiring dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Workers to support cleanliness, sanitation, and facility upkeep in our clinical centers. This is a part-time on-site position, and candidates will choose one of the two available schedules based on availability.

Available Locations

  • East Contra Costa (ECC) – Antioch
  • Central Contra Costa (CCC) – Walnut Creek
  • West Contra Costa (WCC) – Richmond

Schedule Options

  • Part-Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
    OR
  • Part-Time: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Pay Rate: 

  • $19/hour

Position Overview

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and sanitary environment for children, families, and staff within our center-based locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize therapy rooms, restrooms, common areas, and staff spaces
  • Perform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, trash removal, and restocking supplies
  • Support facility organization and identify maintenance concerns when needed
  • Follow safety and sanitation protocols consistently
  • Work independently while managing assigned responsibilities efficiently
  • Maintain professionalism in child-centered clinical environments

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
  • Healthcare, clinic, or child-centered environment experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage time effectively
  • Good communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance required
