Position Information

The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is seeking a School-Age Child Care Assistant Director. This is an anticipated permanent, 10-month position available March 2026. Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of one full year of relevant experience with children required as per PA DHS Standards. Position requires excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills, organization, recordkeeping, planning, reporting, and knowledge of School-Age Child Care, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Procare Software Suite is preferred. Successful candidate should be detail oriented and able to multi-task.


Required Qualifications Upon Offer of Employment:

1. Current PA Criminal History background check
2. Current FBI Criminal background check
3. Current Child Abuse background check
4. Proof of TB test, results must be within the past year
