TI Project Manager (Healthcare / Medical) | Houston, TX

Title: Project Manager – Tenant Improvements (Healthcare / Medical)
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid/On-site as needed)
Type: Full-time
Start: ASAP (target hire within 3 weeks)

About the role
We’re hiring a Project Manager to lead healthcare/medical tenant improvement (TI) projects in occupied/operational environments. You’ll own the project from precon through closeout—budget, schedule, subcontractors, client coordination, and turnover—while maintaining patient/occupant safety and compliance.

What you’ll do

  • Lead TI projects from budgeting, bidding, buyout, and planning through construction, closeout, and turnover.
  • Build and manage project schedules; coordinate subcontractors and vendors; track productivity, materials, and lead times.
  • Manage cost control: estimates, buyout comparisons, change orders, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
  • Partner with owners/tenants, architects/engineers, and field leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain quality.
  • Drive healthcare-specific requirements (as applicable): ICRA planning, interim life safety, infection control coordination, clean/dirty pathways, off-hours work, and tie-ins.

What you bring (required)

  • 3–8+ years of commercial construction PM experience with a strong concentration in interiors/TI and healthcare/medical (MOBs, clinics, imaging, ASC, hospital renovations, etc.).
  • Proven track record owning budget/schedule and delivering TI projects safely and on time.
  • Strong subcontractor management, change management, and client communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working in occupied healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with ICRA / ILSM expectations and healthcare turnover/commissioning workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar (or equivalent experience).

Comp & benefits

  • Competitive base + bonus (project/performance-based), vehicle allowance (if applicable), health benefits, PTO, and growth path.
