PRE-OP & PACU Registered Nurse - Full-Time 40hrs/week or Part-time 24hrs/week, 8-hour shifts

**Mon-Fri, No weekends/No holidays (no evenings, or overnights); Self-scheduling shifts vary during operating hours (0530-1800) based on surgery schedule

This position includes a financial benefit stipend.

Job Duties Include:

- Assess, instruct & prepare patients prior to surgery

- Ensure that operative and informed consents are signed and correct

- Take and record vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for surgical procedure

- Initiate IVs and ensure patients are informed about procedure

- Assess patients' post-operative condition

- Monitor vital signs and other measurements of progress, meeting discharge criteria

- Log all findings in patient files

- Answer patient questions and ensure patient comfort

- Monitor patients for condition changes, reporting any changes to physician

- Perform intervention duties during post-operative emergencies

BLS required

ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of start date

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.50 per hour

Expected hours: 34 - 40 per week
