Job Summary: The Behavior Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum and related disorders.
- Assists BCBA in implementing behavioral programming in a 1:1 setting.
- Immediately reports to BCBA any patient incidents/variances or complaints.
- Collects data on all programming and writes progress notes.
- Advises and consults with the family and other agency personnel.
- Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures.
- Participates with all other educational and therapeutic professionals in patient care planning.
- Attends staff meetings and patient care conferences as scheduled.
- Communication with teachers, therapists, and parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information.
- Adheres to Agency standards and consistently interprets and accurately performs all assigned.
- Provides direct care to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor.
- Collects and records data on patient behavior.
- Collaborates, communicates, and assists with the training of clients, parents, and staff.
- Provides a safe and supportive environment for patients and family.
- Carries out clinical assessments and other administrative duties.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
- Attends training to acquire further knowledge.
- Maintains clean and neat work environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
