Guests visit Draft to enjoy elevated dining, watch their favorite games, and share fun moments with friends and family.
Your Role at Draft
As a Bartender at Draft, you play a central role in delivering a world-class beverage experience. You craft specialty drinks, engage guests with confidence and professionalism, and ensure the bar operates efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Your attentiveness, knowledge, and teamwork help Draft deliver elevated service and create memorable experiences for every guest.
What You'll Be Doing
Guest Engagement and Experience
- Greet guests promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming and engaging bar atmosphere
- Take beverage orders, provide thoughtful recommendations, and guide guests through menu offerings
- Educate guests on beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails, including flavor profiles and pairing suggestions
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible beverage service in compliance with RBS standards and local laws
- Address guest concerns proactively to ensure an elevated and memorable experience
Drink Preparation and Service
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Garnish and present drinks consistently to uphold Draft’s quality expectations
- Coordinate with servers and food runners to ensure seamless and timely food and beverage delivery
- Adjust service style and pace during high-volume periods, large parties, and special events while maintaining exceptional standards
Bar Operations and Inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar including glassware, garnishes, mixers, and ice
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking, and support receiving and tracking of alcohol shipments
- Change kegs and CO2 tanks as needed and promptly report maintenance concerns
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol-service policies to ensure guest and team member wellbeing
- Support barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth and efficient operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned and trained to support overall restaurant success

Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing and mobility required for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards, including slip-resistant safety shoes.
- Clear communication and attentive listening skills required for supervisors, team members, and guests.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Required if serving alcohol: RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certified.
- Required: Food Handler’s Card, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Two years bartending experience required, combined with food and beverage service experience.
- Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, with ability to craft specialty cocktails.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain composure under high-volume conditions.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and guest-first mindset.
Testing/Work Authorization:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Valid U.S. work authorization required.
- Pre-Employment Background check is required.
Expected Hours of Work:
Flexible availability is required, including nights, holidays, and peak seasons. Team members must maintain open availability for at least two of the three weekend days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
