General Description of Position Duties:

• Instructional Leadership: Collaborate with the principal and instructional coaches to develop and implement a data-driven curriculum aligned with state standards. • Classroom Supervision and Evaluation: Conduct regular classroom observations, provide feedback to teachers, and support their professional development. • Student Success: Oversee student progress, intervene for at-risk students, and celebrate academic achievements. (Special education, 504 plans, and ELL experience preferred) • Positive School Culture: Develop and implement school-wide behavior plans, manage student discipline, and promote a safe and inclusive learning environment. • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, teachers, staff, and the community. • Organization and Management: Effectively manage assigned programs and budgets, ensuring efficient daily operations. • Data Analysis: Analyze student data to identify trends and implement targeted interventions to improve student outcomes.

Position Title: Middle School Assistant Principal
Grade Level: 6-8
Teaching Certificate Required: Indiana Administration License
Previous Teaching Experience Required: Middle school teaching or administration
experience preferred.
