Job Description

Medical Director, Full-Time, Day Shift

Community Care is hiring a Medical Director who enjoys team collaboration, community-based work, being part of a mission driven organization and who shares our mission to help elderly individuals and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities continue to live as independently as possible in the community. This is a full-time opportunity based out of our Brookfield office. 

Medical Director Job Responsibilities 

  • In collaboration with the Chief Program Officer, assumes overall accountability and responsibility for the quality of medical care for the Community Care Health Plan program members.
  • Conducts initial and on-going orientation and education with Primary Care and specialist physicians to assure compliance with program protocols and Community Care policies and procedures to ensure quality and cost effective care as needed.
  • Interfaces actively with contracted providers to provide feedback on quality improvement issues, utilization management issues and education. 
  • Be knowledgeable of results and organizational metrics for area of responsibility and works with direct reports to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Travel, Regular local travel, requiring use of personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of required insurance coverage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Medical Director Job Requirements:

Education: Doctorate degree in Medicine required


Licensure: DEA registration required.
                   NPI and CPR & AED required
                   WI Driver's License required
                   Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice or Board Eligible. Advanced certification in Geriatrics preferred.


Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent primary care experience with an at risk or elderly population.

Physician Job Schedule:

•        Monday to Friday

•        8:00AM – 4:30PM
