The Clear View School / AMIC & Supportive Families is looking for a Physical Education teacher to work full time for our Day Treatment Center , who can provide an active learning environment where all students can excel academically, physically, and socially.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Develop and implement fun lesson plans and class activities for Physical Education and Health classes aligned with New York State Standards. Assess students regularly and analyze student results; refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs.
- Manage student behavior to ensure every student is fully engaged.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance.
- Identify unique student needs and collaborate with peer teachers to effectively address those needs.
- Support the school's Strategic Planning initiatives emphasizing strengthening the culture.
- Demonstrate commitment to the school's purpose, vision, and mission.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Certification in Special Education.
- Physical Education.
- Ability and willingness to reflect and improve instructional practices.
- Compassionate and Passionate; Results-driven and goal-oriented Excellent classroom management skills.
- Provide positive behavior intervention with support Effective interpersonal communication skills with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Knowledge of the subject matter.
- Knowledge of child cognitive development and various learning styles.
