Job Summary

The Security Administrator is responsible for protecting the organization’s systems, networks, and data by implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security controls and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage security systems and alerts
• Administer user access, permissions, and identity controls
• Implement security policies, patches, and vulnerability remediation
• Investigate and respond to security incidents
• Support compliance and audit requirements
• Maintain security documentation and reports

Qualifications

• Experience in IT security, system administration, or related role
• Knowledge of security tools, access control, and endpoint protection
• Understanding of networking and cybersecurity best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with SIEM, MFA, and vulnerability management tools
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS)
• Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, CEH)
