Job Description

Photographer

Storyteller with a knack for visual imagery.

Do you relish the challenge to satisfy the ever-growing need for imagery to use in globally-visible web, social, print, and retail channels? Are you a skilled photographer with the natural ability to make the most awesome products look even better? Are you stoked to tell the story of how our bikes and equipment can make every ride more enjoyable? HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Collaborate with designers, product marketing, and other internal stakeholders to support marketing initiatives from concept to execution
  • Track projects, coordinate shoot logistics and manage post production/ assets
  • Maintain studio environment and ensure physical infrastructure is kept in good order and supplies are well organized
  • Monitor and maintain equipment inventory, and facilitate servicing and repairs when necessary
  • Partner with software and equipment vendors in order to troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to lighting and or capture
  • Collaborate with Content Creation Manager on photo studio build-out and set-up, including procuring equipment and ordering supplies / expendables
  • Facilitate rental of all supplemental equipment needed for shoots on and off site
  • Participate in retouching and post production of photos

 

wHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

  • Experience with still life, laydown, and on-figure editorial photography – and a stellar portfolio to show us how awesome you are
  • Strong knowledge of photographic principles (lighting, composition, etc.), equipment, and capture/editing programs
  • Excellent compositional skills and knowledge of industry-related trends
  • Strong on-set skills, model direction, and attention to detail, with a wealth of location/action sports photography experience
  • Proficiency in industry tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One
  • Ability to collaborate with the cross-functional teams on concept and direction for initiatives – a natural communicator with the ability to align with brand standards
  • You’re proactive in problem solving, both technically and creatively, with constant attention to process improvement
  • Ability to juggle tasks in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional photography experience, with in-house studio experience preferred
