Job Description

Job Title: PT Board Operator/Producer

 

Department: Programming

 

Reporting To: Brand Manager

 

Employment Type: Part Time

 

Work Arrangement: On-site

 

Audacy St. Louis is looking for a part-time Board Operator/Producer to join our team!  

 

The right person for this role will have a passion for Sports and News/Talk radio and a desire to grow brands on-air, in the community, and on social media; with significant attentiveness to digital content production. This position covers both KMOX & KFTK.

What You'll Do:

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs as well as produce talk shows, sporting events, and on-site broadcasts
  • Candidates must be detail oriented and cool under the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
  • Edit and title podcasts to optimize reach for distribution across various platforms
  • Collaborate with brand management, talent, executive producers, and newsroom 
  • Participate and create original content for all social media platforms
  • Must be willing to work a schedule that will include holidays, nights, overnights, and/or weekends
  • Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations
  • Other duties as required by management

Required & Preferred:

  • One year of experience producing or editing radio/audio content preferred
  • Interest in news, current events, sports and pop culture
  • Proficiency in audio editing
  • Proficiency in video editing
  • Sharp attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
