Position: Train and supervise inside operation team members. Responsible for all duties of the inside operation position.

The Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all inside operations included but not limited to answering phone enquiries, ringing in group outings, selling merchandise, and assisting other shop staff.
  • Monitor and fill out proper paperwork.
  • Monitor and process Membership paperwork.
  • Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe work environment.
  • Take tee time reservations and check in golfers.
  • Sell gift certificates on the golf course for Event Hole.
  • Record cash taken in vs. dollar value given out in gift certificates.
  • Give weekly inventory and locker room supplies list to Head Professional.
  • Assist with spike changes and shoe shining.
  • Stock locker room supplies, maintain cleanliness and issue lockers for guests.
  • Issue rental shoes.
  • Monitor golf course and weather conditions through GPS and DTN Weather computer.
  • Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank. Perform simple arithmetic functions using a calculator
  • Assist with daily golf operations as directed by Professional Staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
  • Must work well both with others and independently and be a team player.
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Requires high contact with all types of guests or clients.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Will require standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional.

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
