Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in organizing and conducting activities with residents.
  2. Play a key role in residents' well-being by planning and promoting recreation-based activities that stimulate the mind and body, fostering social interaction.
  3. Provide input into the design and development of monthly recreation programs.
  4. Document resident attendance and participation in activities and write progress notes.
  5. Attend care plan meetings to coordinate activities with residents' needs as appropriate.


Qualifications:

  1. High school graduate or GED.
  2. Pleasant, outgoing, and compassionate individual.
  3. Must be flexible, able to multitask, and reliable.
  4. Experience in long-term care is helpful but not required.
  5. Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed.
