Job Description

Job Title: Independent Evaluator

Grade: 21

Salary: $39.36-$43.41

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an hourly Independent Evaluator (IE) position to assist with a grant-funded research project. The project is studying two models of employment services for people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) who are interested in finding and maintaining employment. The independent evaluator's primary duties will be to remotely conduct clinical assessments to determine eligibility of OCD patients as well as conduct clinical assessments of patients enrolled in the study. The position is part-time, fully remote, requiring approximately 6 hours a week with flexibility in scheduling. Incumbents must reside in the NYC metro area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts clinical assessments to determine eligibility of OCD patients to participate in a grant-funded research project
  • Conducts clinical assessments of patients enrolled in the grant-funded research project
  • Engages in weekly supervision with supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D.) in New York
  • At least (1) year of experience with diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of OCD or related anxiety disorders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least (6) months experience administering structured clinical interviews (e.g., SCID, MINI, Y-BOCS)
