Job Summary: Responsible for safe and efficient assembly line work in an industrial woodworking environment.
Work Location:
- This will be an onsite role in our Lancaster-Bird In Hand location.
Compensation Information:
- Hourly range of $19 plus an annual incentive plan.
What you’ll do:
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assemble individual components in an efficient manner to lead to shipping units to the quality standards required.
- Material handling as needed to perform operations on material and to move material to next station as determined by part flow.
- Utilize all safety equipment and precautions for the position.
- Complete all required paperwork (ex.- timesheets, quality control report forms, etc.).
- Perform daily cleanups on all work areas.
- Consistent and regular attendance and adherence to schedule.
What we expect you to bring to the table:
- Ability to organize tools and supplies in their work area for efficiency.
- Able to determine when tools are not operating properly and ensure that all guards and safeties are in proper working order.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain required production levels.
- Ability to monitor and control the air tool settings to ensure proper tool operation.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the safe operation of the basic tools required for assembly line operation.
- Knowledge of Basic Math.
Education and/or Certifications Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
