Thermal Specialties is looking for a Material Handler/Warehouse Associate for our Distribution Warehouse Division in Tulsa, OK. This individual needs to have strong work ethic and reliability and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must have a valid and active drivers license and be able to drive our company truck/box truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations as needed
- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, storage yard, or vehicles
- Pull and package material for new orders. Unload floor-loaded stock trucks
- Perform daily cycle count
- Fabrication of custom insulation systems (pipe cover, elbows, metal jacketing)
- Operate fork lift or other machinery (saw, stomp shear, metal roller) in order to complete tasks
- Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
- Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
- Demonstrated attention to detail and pride in your work
- Basic math skills and accuracy in reading a tape measure
- Working knowledge of fabrication preferred but not required
- Forklift experience preferred
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work in extreme high/low temperatures and a physically demanding environment. Frequently required to stand for long periods of time.
