Job Description

SUMMARY

Specialized operates in most regions of the world and our largest business unit is in the U.S.  and is headquartered in Morgan Hill, CA. We are looking for a talented individual to lead our Finance function for the USA division and grow into the position of leading Finance for North America. The position would have dual reporting – both into the Corporate CFO and well as the Managing Director of the USA Division. This position will be a key member of the Leadership Team for the USA.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Assisting the USA Managing Director in setting and executing the long range strategy in alignment with the company long-term financial model
  • Leading the target setting and annual budget process
  • Leading the quarterly forecast process as well as the monthly close
  • Prioritizing investment opportunities and providing return on investment support and reporting to the leadership
  • Working capital management
    • Actively managing the portfolio risk of Accounts Receivable
    • Actively managing inventory including the planning and approval of our annual inventory buy plan
  • Building strong relationships with the USA team as well as the Global Finance team
  • Manage a team of 10-12, including our Credit Department
  • Strong advisor to both the MD and Corporate CFO on opportunities and risks in the business
  • Safeguarding assets by ensuring adherence to corporate policies and procedures

 

wHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

  • Positive and energetic with a passion for our Industry
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence in and outside of Finance
  • Ability to hire and retain a talented team
  • Strong accounting skills, CPA is ideal but not required
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle is ideal but not required
