Description:

Yarmouth Elementary School, which serves students in grades 2 through 5, has an opening for a third-grade LTS teacher. This position will start in August 2026 and finish in December 2027. A background in Responsive Classroom, Science of Reading Literacy Practice, Everyday Math, and Inquiry-Based Science is a plus. 

The Yarmouth School Department, located 10 miles north of Portland, Maine, serves students in kindergarten through grade 12 across four schools and is consistently recognized among the highest-performing school districts in Maine, having earned two National Blue Ribbon Schools awards since 2018.
