Description du r�le

Nous sommes � la recherche d�un Sp�cialiste en support technique et formation - Contr�les hautement qualifi� et techniquement comp�tent pour soutenir la croissance de notre division d��clairage intelligent et de contr�les.

Ce r�le est ax� sur la fourniture d�une expertise technique avanc�e, le support client et la formation pour notre portefeuille de produits de contr�le.

Le candidat id�al est orient� client, ax� sur les solutions, et d�montre une forte aptitude � r�soudre des probl�mes complexes, d�velopper du mat�riel de formation et travailler directement avec les clients, entrepreneurs et int�grateurs.

Vos principales responsabilit�s seront lui suivante :

  • Agir � titre d�expert technique pour notre portefeuille de produits de contr�le, en offrant un soutien technique aux �quipes de vente, distributeurs, entrepreneurs, �lectriciens, �quipes de service et installateurs.
  • Animer des sessions de formation et cr�er du mat�riel technique (guides, manuels, documentation de connaissances) en collaboration avec le gestionnaire de produits.
  • D�velopper et utiliser des maquettes et bancs d�essai pour reproduire des probl�mes clients, tester des solutions et former efficacement les utilisateurs.
  • Diagnostiquer les probl�mes mat�riels, logiciels et applicatifs, y compris la maintenance d�applications et la r�solution de probl�mes quotidiens sur des installations complexes.
  • Participer � des pr�sentations techniques, d�monstrations de produits et activit�s de formation clients.
  • Travailler directement avec les entrepreneurs, int�grateurs et prescripteurs afin d�assurer le succ�s de l�implantation, mise en service et configuration des syst�mes.
  • Documenter les probl�mes techniques r�currents et communiquer les constats � la gestion de produits et � l�ing�nierie afin d�appuyer l�am�lioration continue des produits.
  • Collaborer avec les �quipes d�ing�nierie, les fournisseurs et les �quipes de produits pour soutenir le d�veloppement, l��valuation et la r�solution de probl�mes techniques.

Qualifications

  • Dipl�me universitaire en g�nie, informatique, technologie �lectrique/de l��clairage ou dans un domaine connexe (ou exp�rience �quivalente).
  • 5 ans ou plus d�exp�rience en soutien technique, int�gration de syst�mes ou service sur le terrain dans le domaine des contr�les d��clairage.
  • Solide connaissance des syst�mes de contr�le d��clairage, plateformes IoT et syst�mes d�automatisation des b�timents.
  • Exp�rience pratique dans le d�pannage mat�riel et logiciel sur le terrain.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en pr�sentation, avec exp�rience en formation technique.
  • Capacit� � concevoir et utiliser des maquettes de syst�mes � des fins de formation et de d�pannage.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Controls Technical Support & Training Specialist to support the growth of our smart lighting and controls division. This role is focused on providing advanced technical expertise, customer-facing support, and training for our controls product portfolio.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, solution-driven, and thrives on troubleshooting complex system issues, developing training resources, and working hands-on with customers, contractors, and integrators.

Your main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for our controls portfolio, providing technical guidance and support to sales teams, distributors, contractors, electricians, service teams, and installers.
  • Deliver training sessions and create technical resources, manuals, and knowledge base content in collaboration with the Product Manager.
  • Develop and use system mock-ups and demonstration rigs to replicate customer issues, test solutions, and train users effectively.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues, including app maintenance and day-to-day problem-solving for complex customer installations.
  • Assist with technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer education events.
  • Work directly with contractors, integrators, and specifiers to ensure successful system implementation, commissioning, and configuration.
  • Document recurring technical issues and communicate findings to Product Management and Engineering for continuous product improvement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Vendors, and Product Teams to support product development, product evaluation and problem resolution.

  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, system integration, or lighting controls field service roles.
  • Strong knowledge of lighting controls, IoT platforms, and building automation systems.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting both hardware and software in the field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering technical training.
  • Ability to create and use system mock-ups for troubleshooting and training purposes.
