Savvee Inc. is seeking a dynamic Intermediate Analyst/Team Lead to support our federal client in a hybrid environment located in Washington, DC. This candidate will lead an onsite FOIA team and serve as the primary liaison while overseeing FOIA and Privacy Act requests. They will drive workload management, quality control, and SOP compliance while mentoring staff, maintaining case tracking, and ensuring timely, accurate, and defensible responses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Serving as onsite supervisor and team lead.
• Acting as the day‑to‑day point of contact for the COR and Contracting Officer.
• Reviewing and processing FOIA and Privacy Act requests.
• Supporting FOIA appeals and litigation.
• Applying FOIA exemptions and redactions.
• Assigning and managing analyst workloads.
• Maintaining FOIA case notes and tracking.
• Supporting the onboarding and training of staff.
• Maintaining SOPs and compliance documentation.
• Ensuring the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of case processing.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Five or more years of experience processing FOIA requests or supporting Privacy compliance OR
• Eight or more years of general office experience AND two or more years of FOIA or Privacy compliance experience (in lieu of education requirement)
• Ability to access and safeguard PII and SPII
• Must have the ability to obtain the client’s suitability
• Proven knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and hands-on experience applying AI solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
