CONTROLS INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity for an Controls Intern.
Must be able to travel to our Fort Wayne facility during the week.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Learn from plant Manufacturing and Controls Engineers and Process Experts
- Implement Create Ideas and drive Continuous Improvement
- Assist engineering team with completing automation, tooling, lean, and other engineering projects
- Prepare presentations, technical documents, and other project documentation Assist troubleshooting, debugging, and developing improvements with auto and semi-auto assembly equipment
- Coordinate with others to determine root cause and implement permanent solutions
- Perform and document control system testing
- Review reports and test results to help develop or implement permanent improvements
- Develop How To instructions for all levels of operations

- Assist with hands on troubleshooting independently or within teams

- Microsoft Office tools experience required

Qualifications and Experience
- Working towards a degree from an accredited College or University in Engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
