Are you nearing the end of your Respiratory Therapy program or a recent graduate ready to step confidently into professional practice? Our Respiratory Therapy Residency Program is designed to support your transition from student to skilled Respiratory Therapist through hands-on experience, structured mentorship, and progressive responsibility.

 

We welcome applications from:

  • Students in the final semester or final clinical phase of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Recent graduates of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Individuals preparing to obtain state licensure and RRT credentials

As a Respiratory Therapy Resident, you will:

  • Provide respiratory care under appropriate supervision while building confidence and competence
  • Work alongside experienced Respiratory Therapists and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Gain exposure to a variety of clinical settings and patient populations
  • Participate in structured orientation, education, skills labs, and competency validation
  • Progress toward independent practice as licensure and competencies are achieved


Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Enrollment in the final phase or recent completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Eligible for or ability to obtain state Respiratory Therapist licensure within a defined timeframe
  • Eligible for or currently pursuing CRT or RRT credentials
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to independent patient care)
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
