| Required Education | A terminal degree in architecture or a closely related field (e.g.Ph.D., M.Arch., or foreign equivalent) is required for appointment in a tenure-track position. Applicants without acknowledged terminal degrees but holding similar appropriate credentials and/or a record of significant professional accomplishment will be considered for appointment as Professor of Practice. |
| Required Experience | Teaching experience for Professors of Practice is not required, however it is a preferred qualification for additional consideration in the selection process when the candidate has demonstrated effectiveness teaching at the college level |
