Summary
This position will be responsible for all aspects of scheduling at Kraus-Anderson. Support the construction project teams and requiring a customer focused mindset; the Sr. Schedule Mgr. is primarily responsible for the oversight of the creation and maintenance of project schedules. Helping our teams translate their construction planning work into the contract schedule, developing, maintaining, and enforcing schedule standards, as well as providing training support to all operations leaders in our organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 10 years of construction operations leadership (Scheduling, Superintendent, or Project Manager) experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, submittals, specifications, and contracts to determine schedule scope and contract requirements.
- Deep understanding of the design, procurement, and construction processes and how they interact together.
- Able to create and update high quality critical path schedules in Microsoft project, Primavera P6 / OCS, all related schedule applications.
- An effective communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent inter-personal skills capable of clearly communicating technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines all while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Able to effectively Identify technical schedule issues and communicates quickly and accurately to Project Manager, including proposed solutions.
- A servant leader mindset who can build consensus, influence and motivate disparate groups to achieve positive outcomes.
- Strong sense of focus on developing a culture of mentorship, succession planning and strong customer service.
- Able to serve as a resource to project teams for one-on-one training or project specific training needs.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree from four year college/university or equivalent.
- Have practiced or implemented a construction production control system, such as Last Planner System, takt planning, or others.
- Understand the benefits of production areas and ability to create a work breakdown structure based around area control.
- Familiar with industry recognized scheduling quality metrics and how they build better schedules.
- Literacy around data interpretation of schedule metrics, and how to use metrics to improve schedules at the project and company level.
- Proficient in utilization of Schedule Validator, SmartPM, or similar.
- Relevant professional certification(s) in scheduling or project controls.
Other:
- Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to KA’s Motor Vehicle Policy.
- Travel – between 40% to 60% to local projects (Minnesota), occasional travel to regional offices (10%-15%)

Salary Range: $120,000 to $160,000 annually, an auto allowance and discretionary incentive program.
While the range listed represents the anticipated hiring range for this position, offers at the upper end of the range are uncommon. Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
