Manager, Provider Relations

Location: Field-Based - Preference for Candidates located in Southeast/Central US

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports To: Vice President of Regional Operations

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Mission: Why This Role Matters

The Manager, Provider Relations is a high-impact leadership role dedicated to expanding access to life-changing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy. You aren't just managing a team; you are spearheading a mission to educate the healthcare community and bridge the gap between providers and patients in need of innovative behavioral health solutions.

In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of Regional Account Managers (RAMs), fostering a culture of strategic excellence, clinical integrity, and relentless growth.

Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach & Mentor: Direct a team of RAMs, providing consistent field-level coaching to sharpen their engagement strategies and clinical fluency.
  • Performance Excellence: Conduct rigorous 1-on-1s and performance reviews, leveraging data-driven insights to guide development plans and corrective actions.
  • Talent Acquisition: Own the hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of new team members to ensure regional scalability.

Strategic Market Growth

  • Market Intelligence: Analyze referral trends, market penetration, and competitor landscapes to identify untapped growth opportunities.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Lead the charge in identifying and engaging high-value healthcare stakeholders and behavioral health systems.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Reimbursement teams to dismantle barriers to patient access and align messaging.

Execution & Compliance

  • Field Presence: Spend approximately 80% of your time in the field, observing RAM activity and supporting high-stakes account development.
  • Data Integrity: Utilize CRM and reporting tools to evaluate regional KPIs and inform executive decision-making.
  • Compliance Stewardship: Ensure all team activities strictly adhere to healthcare laws, regulations, and internal company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

The Must-Haves:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of success in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams to meet or exceed regional growth targets.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in territory planning and using metrics to drive sales behavior.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel up to 80% (air/auto) within the assigned regional territory. Preference for Candidates located in Southeast/Central US.

The Nice-to-Haves:

  • 2+ years of direct people management experience in a clinical or referral-based environment.
  • Specific experience in Behavioral Health or Neuroscience.
  • Experience navigating complex reimbursement landscapes (Prior Authorizations/Payer Relations).

The Ideal Candidate Profile

You are a "Player-Coach" who thrives in the field. You possess the emotional intelligence to lead a diverse team and the analytical "engine" to spot trends before they become problems. Most importantly, you are passionate about mental health and the clinical efficacy of TMS therapy.

Physical Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively (80%) by air, rail, or automobile.
  • Ability to perform standard field-based duties: standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (marketing materials/displays).
