The Warehouse Supervisor plans, administers, and supervises the warehouse workforce to complete daily warehouse activities and to meet daily productivity standards. Ensures that a safe and healthy work environment is maintained.
- Supervises warehouse employees to ensure daily shipping and receiving activities are completed
- Audits outbound freight to ensure correct merchandise is being shipped
- Controls the equipment inspection process to ensure the equipment is safe and in working condition
- Inspects the warehouse fire equipment to ensure all regulations are met
- Plans and executes projects as directed by the Regional Distribution Center Manager
- Trains warehouse workers in regard to warehousing activities
- Maintains accurate time keeping for warehousemen, and pre-authorizes overtime. Plans, schedules, and supervises all dock and staging area activities
- Works closely with inventory control to ensures inventory accuracy by monitoring product movements, confirming location usage and auditing inventory movement
- Frequently audits warehouse activity to make sure all internal safety requirements are being met as well as OSHA guidelines are being followed by employees and anyone working on site

- Proficient computer skills and with Microsoft Office
- Experienced forklift operator – multiple types of machines and multiple types of attachments is a plus
- Two to Three years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory control environment
- Solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes are required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with RF devices and a solid understanding of a WMS is preferred
- Two to Three years experience supervising a diverse team in a fast paced environment
- Standing 2-4 hours a day
- Lift 20-49 lbs
- Computer use 6-8 hours a day
