Position Overview:

Royal Community Support is seeking a compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist an individual in Ocean Township, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with community-based support, small outings, and activities that promote independence and integration within the community.

We have part-time & full time roles offering the following schedules available:

1. 9:00am -3:00pm Monday- Friday: zip code 07747 (Full time w/ benefits)

2. 9A-3P Mon thru Fri : zip code 07727 (Full time w/ benefits)

3. 16 hours per week (flexibility with days/time within these options: Mondays between 10am and 6pm; Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturday between 2:30 - 6:30; Fridays from 10am and 1pm or Sundays between 10am and 6pm) zip code 07726- MANALAPAN

4.. 6:00am-9:00am Monday to Friday: zip code 07753- NEPTUNE

5. 10:00 am-6:00 pm Mon,Wed, Fri ( Saturday flexible, not mandatory) must like swimming with this energetic person in her 20's.zip code 07764- WEST LONG BRANCH

6. MARLBORO - 12 HRS F/ 07746

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

  • Assist with daily activities and personal goals, promoting independence and community engagement. 

  • Support participation in small outings and community-based activities. 

  • Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care. 

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times. 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record. 

  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening. 

  • Ability to work legally in the United States. 

  • Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness. 

  • Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
