Role Objective:

The Starlink Sales Associate is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of in-flight connectivity solutions (Starlink kits) and Part 145 Maintenance Services to private aircraft owners, operators, and fleet managers. This role focuses on consultative sales, educating clients on the benefits of high-speed satellite internet for aviation, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless installation and customer satisfaction.


Essential Job Tasks:

  • Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities for Starlink aviation kits and Maintenance Services across private aircraft owners and operators.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through outbound outreach, referrals, and industry networking.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations highlighting performance, reliability and ROI of Starlink systems.
  • Collaborate with maintenance (MRO), engineering, and operations teams to align installation timelines and technical requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline in CRM systems.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in aviation connectivity.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote solutions and build relationships.
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.

Work Environment:


This position operates in a professional office environment with frequent interaction with clients, both virtually and in person. Regular visits to hangars, aircraft, and maintenance facilities may be required.


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional travel to client sites, events, and aircraft facilities.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and technology

Travel:


Up to 50-75% travel may be required for client meetings, industry events, and on-site sales efforts.


Required Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in aviation, technology, or high-end B2B sales.
  • Experience selling aviation products, connectivity solutions, or aircraft-related services is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with private aviation industry and Part 135/145/91 operations is a must
