Job Description

Performs a variety of engineering work including such areas as design, production manufacturing, test, calibration and efficiency.

What you will be responsible for: 
●    As required by the business, works with various products, equipment and disciplines to increase production, quality, efficiency, volume and/or       environmental suitability.
●    Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.  Experience in any 3D CAD                    software is a requirement, but knowledge of modeling experience in Creo/Pro-E is preferred.  Also, experience creating/interpreting 2D                   drawings is a requirement.
●    Gathers, coordinates and applies basic engineering data using established and appropriate or defined engineering principles and procedures.
●    Applies area of specialty to design, develop, implement and maintain creative and innovative solutions to difficult problems.
●    Reviews progress with management and recommends corrective action along with review of alternatives.
●    Limited interaction with customers under supervision.
●    Create and maintain component drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and process routings for product designs.
●    Provide Engineering and technical support to production, purchasing, marketing, and customers.
 


What you will need to be successful in this role: 
•    BSME or Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from ABET accredited school or equivalent, may have a master’s degree and may be a registered                professional engineer.
•    Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
•    Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
