Do you want to put your scientific rigor to work in the world of creation? As a Formulator, you'll take part in the development of cosmetic and personal care products by contributing to formula improvement and the creation of new ideas. Your role: to turn our clients’ needs into concrete, innovative, and high-performing solutions, helping to strengthen our position as a key partner in their formulation projects.

 

An overview of your new position

 

  • Research raw materials and suggest alternatives
  • Participate in the adjustment and preparation of lab batches
  • Conduct tests to evaluate formula stability and performance
  • Perform pilot trials and provide support during production, in collaboration with the R&D team
  • Contribute to formula updates prior to production transfer
  • Document your observations and update technical documentation
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data entered into systems (formulas, specifications, etc.)

 

You are the ideal candidate if you have

 

  • A degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, with hands-on experience in the development or support of cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical products
  • Strong proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite) to effectively track and document your projects
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, essential for collaborating with English-speaking clients and delivering personalized, professional service
  • Solid knowledge of key raw materials in cosmetic formulation (polymers, colorants, active agents), enabling you to understand and anticipate formula needs
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a multi-project environment
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both the team and our clients
  • A high level of autonomy, precision, and attention to detail in your day-to-day work
