Job Title: CDL-A Driver Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Driver Trainer to mentor and develop new and current drivers. This role is responsible for ensuring safe driving practices, compliance with DOT regulations, and successful onboarding of trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor new CDL-A drivers in safe driving techniques
• Conduct road and classroom training sessions
• Evaluate driver performance and provide feedback
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company policies
• Demonstrate proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate training records and reports
• Promote a culture of safety and professionalism

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record
• 3–5+ years of over-the-road (OTR) experience
• Prior training or mentorship experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
