Job Function

Reporting into the Production Supervisor , the Green Room Operator will be based out of Westfield, MA and will be responsible for operating sizing room equipment to separate ranges of particle sizes of aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, and other abrasives from dispersion following established methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

Fill draw tanks with abrasive slurry from central mixing tank.
Use measuring procedures to determine density of the product
Draw water from sixing tanks
Provide quality with samples
Remove material from tanks
Cut and settle material into 12 inch squares with shovel
Bending and lifting to transfer blocks then setting them into drying pans.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Dry load trays
Clean equipment pans, hose floor
Maintain cleanly work area.

Required Experience

Prior manufacturing experience preferred High School Education or GED
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task under time constraints.
Ability to thrive in a team atmosphere

Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, shovel, scoop, and move continuously during an 8-hour shift
Work in non-temperature-controlled environment
