Job Description

Excelcare at Newark is seeking an RN Supervisor who provides leadership and clinical oversight for nursing operations in our skilled nursing facility. This role ensures high-quality resident care, supports nursing staff, maintains regulatory compliance, and promotes a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for resident-centered care.

RN Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing staff and coordinate clinical care during assigned shifts

  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to facility policies

  • Provide direct patient care when necessary

  • Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers

  • Communicate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Respond to emergencies and resolve issues promptly

RN Supervisor Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the State of New Jersey

  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
