What You Will be Doing
As a Junior Technical Writer on Mach7's Documentation Team,
you will help own the end-user and administrator documentation for our eUnity
viewer and Enterprise Imaging Platform (VNA), with a relentless focus on
clarity, accuracy, and usability. You will contribute to building a
documentation experience that empowers clinicians, administrators, and IT teams
to get the most out of our products.
Activities performed by the Junior Technical Writer
include:
· Research, write, and maintain user guides,
administrator manuals, release notes, and online help content for the eUnity
viewer and Enterprise Imaging Platform.
· Collaborate with software engineers, product
managers, and QA to ensure documentation accurately reflects product behavior
and workflows.
· Translate complex technical and clinical
concepts into clear, accessible content for a range of audiences, from end
users to IT administrators.
· Maintain and organize documentation in the
content management system, ensuring version accuracy across product releases.
· Support the documentation review cycle by
incorporating feedback from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
· Contribute to the development and enforcement of
documentation standards, style guides, and templates.
· Participate in sprint ceremonies and product
discussions to stay ahead of upcoming features and changes.

Your background consists of:
· 1–3 years of technical writing experience,
ideally in software, healthcare IT, or enterprise applications.
· A bachelor's degree in technical communication,
English, computer science, or a related field.
· Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise
documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Experience working with structured authoring
tools, content management systems, or documentation platforms (e.g., MadCap
Flare, Confluence).
· Familiarity with the software development
lifecycle and comfort working within agile teams.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to
manage multiple documentation efforts across concurrent product releases.
What Sets You Apart?
· Familiarity with medical imaging concepts,
DICOM, or radiology workflows.
· Exposure to enterprise imaging platforms, VNA
systems, or clinical IT environments.
· Experience with screen capture and video tools
for creating visual aids and walkthroughs (e.g., Snagit, Camtasia).
· Knowledge of docs-as-code practices, including
working with Markdown or lightweight markup languages and CSS.
