Position: Assistant Manager – Marketing, Sports
Purpose: The position is responsible for creating an effective communication strategy for the sports content assigned and ensuring it reaches out to the right consumers using the right media platforms. Each channel has multiple shows/properties that need marketing support; the role supports the design and deployment of marketing strategy and plans by leveraging consumer insights and innovation in order to increase consumer reach, market share, and ratings of the channel in alignment with the brand identity.
Education: MBA-marketing
Experience: Minimum 4 to 8 Years of solid marketing & communication experience. Proficiency in managing partner relations: Research Teams, Agencies, and Vendors besides striking key tie-ups for the brand.

Reporting Relationship: Senior Manager – Marketing, Sports

Key Responsibilities:
- Creating Effective Launch and Sustenance Communication
- Promote Marketing, Buzz & Engagement scores for the Sony Sports Business Regional Portfolio
- Understand the sports brand proposition and match the same with consumer insight.
- Employ market research initiatives to drive brand positioning and marketing communication efforts.
- Undertake promotional campaigns (ATL / BTL) to ensure brand visibility and awareness in existing and new markets.
- Develop marketing plans and strategies and translate the same into creative briefs.
- Defining the media mix for the show (print, outdoor, social, digital).
- Optimal utilization of media vehicles as per budget.
- Creating effective launch and sustenance communication for the property/show.
- Deployment of new and evolving modes of marketing.
- Social Media Engagement
- Ensuring consistent social media engagement with consumers.
- Building characters through social media platforms by ensuring their constant presence.

- Manage relations with existing vendors (Marketing and Creative Agencies, Ad Agencies, Event Management Agencies, etc.)
- Evaluate the performance of vendors during campaigns and provide feedback as required.
