Department Overview

We are a fashion focused e-commerce site, Rakuten Fashion.

Rakuten Ichiba is a mall-type business that provides a platform for stores to sell their products, on contrast to Rakuten Fashion, which is a direct sales-type business where Rakuten selects and buys brands and products on its own, and handles marketing, sales, shipping, and customer support.

This is the site that selects products from Japan's major select stores and brands, and focuses on popular and well-known brands such as nano・universe, URBAN RESEARCH, BEAMS, snidel, and GLOBAL WORK. The number of international brands has been increasing in the last few years.

As a business, we are trying to achieve very high mid-term goals and are continuing to make large investments in the following areas.

- Promote the development of loyal customers through the development and enhancement of smartphone applications.

- Promote the acquisition of new customers through continuous mass marketing such as TV commercials.

We have been continuing huge investment on Fashion EC for making big success on mid-term strategy.

In this environment, in order to strengthen the structure of merchandising staff, we are looking for a person in charge as a business partner who can achieve not only sales after opening a store, but also many other goals set by the brand.

 

Position Details

- To meet sales budget for accounting brands, make a strategy of promotion and ads, negotiate with brands about promotion and ads, conduct PDCA based on strategy

- Decide and conduct it to expand a line of products and optimize the number of stocks.

 

 

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience of sales

- Good communicator / Good negotiator

- Logical thinking

- Problem solving skills

- Experience of e-commerce business

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience of sales for BtoB sales

- Experience in the fashion industry

Additional information on English Qualification

TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability) or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country.
If no evidence is available to prove the qualifications denoted above, taking an IP test, organized by Rakuten, during selection process is required.
