Position Summary

The Overnight Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility during overnight hours. This role supports resident comfort, infection control standards, and overall facility cleanliness in a nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Schedule

• Overnight Shift 9:00pm-5:00am

• Per Diem

• No Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and nursing stations

• Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks according to facility schedules

• Replenish cleaning supplies and report maintenance or safety issues

• Follow infection control, OSHA, and facility safety protocols

• Properly handle and dispose of waste and linens

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred

• Buffing & Waxing experience required

• Ability to work independently during overnight hours

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures a plus

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Must be able to pass a background check
